MARJINAL

The marjinal band is a musical group of the many indie bands gruop of punk in Indonesia. Marjinal or was inspired by the Sex Pistols influncekan, Bob Marley, Leo Kristi, Toy Dolls, Bad Religion, The Crass, Benjamin S, and the Ramones started early in his career in 1997 when it was still using the name of the AA (Anti ABRI) and AM (Anti-Military) in the underground community.

With Formation  early punk band (1997) Romi Evil (vocals), Mike (gittar), Bob (bass), Steven (drums), formed the background of similarity in addressing world live with each other. They are trying to convey a message is a rejection or acceptance and hope after what has felt, seen, touched, and heard in everyday life.
Entering 2001, this punk band started to take the name of AA and AM, they are authorized to use the new name that is marjinal. The new name in the can when Mike, the singer was inspired by the names of women fighters Marsinah .. workers .. Marjinal Marsinah from Surabaya are very brave in  fight for  rights as workers. But unfortunately not yet at the time, Marsinah died in the glorious holy task due to torture by a uniformed officer stripes as pet dogs of the capitalists. Not only that Marsinah was inspired releasing Marjinal in the third album by album title Marsinah with cover Marsinah face with black and white format. Extraordinary title track with the same Marsinah album title, so familiar at all because many young people singing in Marsinah hangout, music studio, even in a musical.
In 2005 the marjinal return to bringing forth album-4 with the theme of the cassette comprising Predator 1 & 2. The process of cultivating the fourth album has been progress since have supported by a capable tool, is very different than all if compared to the previous album, both in view of the cover design and tape recordings.
During their work in the indie music industry, Marjinal already undergone several mutually pairs or unloading personnel, and is today still marjinally strengthened by Romi Evil (vocals), Mike (guitar), Bob (bass), Proph (drums) now to continue to walk together in order to stay alive trying to convey a message of a suffering people's mandate as outlined in the form of music media.
